Position Summary: The maintenance technician III responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial control systems. They work closely with equipment representatives and other technicians to ensure that these systems are always functioning properly.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Testing and troubleshooting issues with the system to identify the cause of the problem.
  • Conducting initial setup of equipment and machinery, including wiring diagrams and diagrams of control systems.
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial control systems to regulate the flow of materials or process operations such as machinery, computer networks, and heating and cooling systems.
  • Coordinating with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot malfunctions in complex industrial systems.
  • Installing and maintaining electrical components such as motors, switches, relays, and transformers.
  • Analyzing data provided by sensors to provide feedback to other applications or equipment..

Preferred Requirements:

  • Education and/or Experience: Associates or university degree; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Communication/Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is a must.  Ability to read and comprehend documents, simple instructions, and product labels.
  • Mathematical Skills:  Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts along with performing basic math functions.
  • Reasoning Abilities: Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.  Strong analytical skills with ability to identify opportunities.
  • Technical Competencies:  Experience & knowledge in MS Office products (Excel, Word & MS Outlook).
